Sunday Worship & Celebration

At Sunnyvale UMC, worship is Christ-centered, recognizing the importance of grace and forgiveness, of sharing and communion with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Friends and members of SUMC celebrate together in worship through music, prayer, and the spoken word. All the people are ministers. Volunteers serve as Lay Readers for Sunday services.

Sunday Worship is hybrid, in-person and live on line using Zoom. Access Information is available on our home page.

Our Worship center is equipped with a hearing loop for users of hearing aids with a T-coil.  Assistive listening devices are available. Temporarily unavailable.

Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome.

Fellowship Time is celebrated each Sunday after the worship service hybrid, in person and on Zoom.

Special seasonal worship experiences are offered including Christmas Eve and Easter.
